Who is Angela?

Born and raised in New York, I moved to Thailand in 2016 because I wanted to see how far I could take my passion for Muay Thai.

What I thought would be a chapter of my life became an entirely new one.

More than fifty professional fights later, I’ve experienced Muay Thai from many different perspectives: as a fighter, student, coach, writer, content creator, and someone who has spent years helping people navigate a sport that can often feel overwhelming from the outside.

Today, my work extends far beyond the ring.

Through articles, videos, podcasts, educational resources, private coaching, and consultations, I help people better understand Muay Thai… not just the techniques, but the culture, the people, and the decisions that shape each person’s journey.

My Philosophy

There is rarely one “right” answer in Muay Thai.

There isn’t one best gym. One best trainer. One correct fighting style. Or one path that everyone should follow.

Most questions people ask are more complicated than they first appear because every person brings different goals, experiences, personalities, and circumstances.

Rather than telling people what they should do, I try to help them understand the trade-offs so they can make decisions that are right for them.

Whether I’m writing an article, recording a podcast, coaching a fighter, or talking with someone planning their first trip to Thailand, that philosophy guides everything I create.

Experience

Over the past decade I’ve been fortunate to build experience across many areas of the sport.

Some of those include:

  • 50+ professional Muay Thai fights
  • Rajadamnern & Lumpinee Stadium
  • Formerly internationally-ranked by WBC MuayThai and WMO
  • Thailand-based since 2016
  • Psychology degree
  • International seminars and workshops
  • Private coaching for practitioners of all experience levels
  • Writer, educator, and podcast host

While I’m proud of those achievements, they’re not what I believe matters most.

Experience is valuable because it provides context.

My goal is to use that experience to help other people make better decisions, avoid common mistakes, and enjoy their own journey through Muay Thai.

What I Do Today

These days, my work is split across several different areas.

Education

I write long-form articles, create videos, record podcasts, and develop resources designed to answer the questions I wish someone had answered for me years ago.

Coaching

Through private lessons, seminars, and Strategy Sessions, I work directly with people who want guidance that’s specific to their own goals and situation.

Content Creation

I collaborate with brands and organizations that genuinely align with my values and audience, creating educational content that serves the Muay Thai community first.

No matter the project, my goal is always the same:

To create thoughtful, practical resources that help people better understand Muay Thai and make informed decisions with confidence.
